Introduction
Growth is about momentum. For Intrinzi, the first half of 2026 has been defined by exactly that. Following our recent success as finalists for the Red Rose Awards in Lancashire, we are proud to announce that our journey has reached a new regional stage.
Intrinzi has been officially shortlisted for Technology StartUp of the Year (North West) at the 2026 UK StartUp Awards.
Being selected from over 2,000 applications across the UK is a significant milestone. It places us among the trailblazing entrepreneurs who are driving innovation and shaping the future of the British economy.
From Lancashire Roots to Regional Recognition
Our journey to the UK StartUp Awards follows a fantastic experience during the Red Rose Awards judging rounds at Turf Moor. Being part of that process reinforced our commitment to the Lancashire ecosystem and our decision to base our HQ at the Lancashire Business Park in Leyland.
The UK StartUp Awards, founded by Professor Dylan Jones-Evans OBE and Frankie James, now allows us to showcase our technology on a much broader stage. It highlights how businesses born in Lancashire are providing the essential technological infrastructure for companies to scale across the entire North West and beyond.
Solving the Modern Problem
When we launched Intrinzi, we did so to solve a recurring problem we had seen firsthand while navigating the corporate world. We witnessed how the fragmentation of disconnected apps and siloed data was throttling the growth of even the most ambitious companies. We set out to build a solution that didn’t just add to the noise, but actually unified a businessโs digital ecosystem. By creating a technology layer that allows these disparate systems to work in harmony.
A Message From Joshua, Co-Founder of Intrinzi
“Being named a finalist for Technology StartUp of the Year is a proud moment for Dan and me. When we launched Intrinzi, we did so with a very specific goal, to solve the operational frustrations we dealt with personally while scaling businesses in the past.
We saw how legacy systems and disconnected tools were holding brilliant teams back. To be recognised by the UK StartUp Awards validates that our approach to building a more connected business landscape is exactly what the market needs right now.
This isnโt just a result for the founders; it is a win for our entire team in Leyland and the partners who have trusted our vision from the start. We are excited to represent the North West tech scene and continue this journey toward the national finals.”
Why the UK StartUp Awards Matter
The UK StartUp Awards are more than just a ceremony; they are a movement to champion and connect the UK’s most ambitious founders. With over 20 categories and 10 regions involved, the awards provide a launchpad for businesses to gain the credibility they need to take their next steps.
For Intrinzi, being a finalist in the Technology category means joining a community of innovators who are fostering economic growth. As the awards move toward the Regional Finals in June, we are looking forward to connecting with fellow founders who share our passion for high-impact technology.
What are the UK StartUp Awards?
The UK StartUp Awards were created to shine a spotlight on the most ambitious founders in the country. More than just a ceremony, they represent a national movement to champion businesses in their early stages that are not just surviving, but thriving.
With 10 regional finals across the UK, the awards recognise “emerging disruptors” who are making a lasting impact on their local economies. For Intrinzi, being a finalist in the Technology StartUp category means our infrastructure has been vetted by a panel of over 100 industry experts, investors, and academic leaders who look for innovation, scalability, and real-world impact.

To everyone who has been part of our story so far, from our neighbours at the Lancashire Business Park to our clients across the UK, thank you! We are proud to be building the future of North West technology together and showing that world-class innovation can thrive right here in Leyland.
